Before and After
So, at the end of April we got a letter from our HOA saying that we need to paint our house. This was bittersweet. Bitter in the fact that we really wanted to use that money to pay off debt and sweet in the fact that I could FINALLY change the color of my house. (I hate blue. ESPECIALLY next to another blue house.) Well, after a funeral, baptism, blessing, about 5 painters quotes, and a month waiting to hear back from our HOA, we got it done.

I'm so happy. SUCH a difference! We have been getting a lot of compliments on it and all the cars that drive past slow down and we catch them looking, it's pretty funny. Our beautiful house.....
Now I need to get the yard done. Hmmm........

looks awesome! Fun to see your house again, wish it were in person though--and not just on pictures. Doesn't it just seem like yesterday that we were coming over to 'help' you eat all your leftover pastries from class? time flies
