Well, the girls started school earlier this month. CJ's first day was the 4th and Avary's was the 11th. They started quite early this year and they are getting out WAY early, April 28th. I keep thinking that the kids are going to start their "Summer" break when there is still snow on the ground, insane!
Avary is now in Kindergarten! They started all day Kindergarten this year. When she gets home she is pretty tired. I love her teacher. She is young and very spunky. I think Avary is going to do real well in her class. She was so excited to start school. Everyday when we would drop CJ off she would ask how many more days she had left to go to school. It was real sweet. She begs me for hot lunch, which is different, but for now we are just doing cold lunches. Avary couldn't carry her backpack the first day because it made her topple backwards.
CJ is now in 2nd grade. She is really enjoying it. She seems to be doing better in 2nd grade so far than 1st grade. I'm hoping it keeps up. We are having a hard time getting her to actually EAT lunch. It is so funny how the two of them are so different. CJ's backpack was really heavy this year. She was funny carrying it because she had to make sure she walked hunched over or else she would loose her balance and fall back. She thought it was pretty funny.
It sure is different having them both in school all day now. I'm getting quite bored, especially lately because of feeling so sick all the time. Hopefully I will start getting used to it a bit more. I know it will be better when my mom gets back from Utah. Then at least I can talk to an actual person instead of the dog.
